Private schools to lay 400,000 teachers off come September- GNACOPS warn
The Ghana National Council of Private Schools (GNACOPS) has warn that over 400,000 untrained teachers are set to be laid off come September 2019 if government insist on his stance of teacher licensure.
Government of Ghana introduced compulsory Teachers and Nurses Licence Exams in 2018 to ensure all teachers and Nurses are licensed before they practice come September 2019 which affects public and private facilities.
The council in release signed and copied same to J24NEWS GH, indicates that "Teachers licensure would lay off over 400,000 untrained teachers in private schools in Ghana, coming September"
