Ga East MCE lock gate as about 80% staff report to work late on Tuesday.

Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ga-East Municipal Assembly in the Greater Accra Region, Janet Tulasi Mensah (Hon.)  On Tuesday locked the main gate  at the Assembly premises as most  Staffs and workers reported to work after 9 am.

Speaking to Oman news / j24newsgh, the MCE disclosed that, she got to office at about 7:30 am only to find out that about 70-80% Staff and Workers has not reported to work.

According to her, the phenomenon has been going on for long and it can not be entertain any longer as a nation.

"It will amused you as some people were still reporting to work after 12 pm and those are the people who also leave work by 2pm"she added.

Hon.Janet Tulasi Mensah, bemoaned that, a country who has attained middle income status can not do things in the same old style and the tendency and our bad attitude towards work,events and the likes must be change.
 


She gave a word of caution to her staff and workers that, she's going to pursue the agenda and will not be a nine day wonder.

However, the offenders will be query and She will liaise with Controller and Accountants General Department so  that, " they paid according to number of days worked.


More importantly, there are some people who also report to work early but leave to do other things whiles those who stays also be on social media without bringing any  productivity.

CRIME :KANESHIE POLICE ARREST TWO ROBBERS AT AWUDOME ESTATE ON 25/04/2020 AROUND 6:AM A LADY WAS ON HER WAY TO WORK AND ON REACHING  ST THERESA CATHOLIC CHURCH AT AWUDOME, SUSPECTS JAMES ANNAN AND EBENEZER TORTO ON A BLUE ROYAL MOTOR BIKE WITH REGISTERATION NO M- 20- GREAT 9695 SUDDENLY STOPPED AND THE PILLION RIDDER EBENEZER TORTO PULLED A SHARP KNIFE ON HER DEMANDING FOR HER PHONE AND MONEY. IN AN ATTEMPT  TO RUN FOR HER LIFE,  SHE FELL AND SUSPECT ATTACKED HER ON THE GROUND. LUCK ELUDED THEM WHEN THE COMPLAINANT SHOUTED FOR HELP AND SUSPECTS WERE ARRESTED AND BROUGHT TO THE STATION.
