CRIME :KANESHIE POLICE ARREST TWO ROBBERS AT AWUDOME ESTATE

A LADY WAS ON HER WAY TO WORK AND ON REACHING  ST THERESA CATHOLIC CHURCH AT AWUDOME, SUSPECTS JAMES ANNAN AND EBENEZER TORTO ON A BLUE ROYAL MOTOR BIKE WITH REGISTERATION NO M- 20- GREAT 9695 SUDDENLY STOPPED AND THE PILLION RIDDER EBENEZER TORTO PULLED A SHARP KNIFE ON HER DEMANDING FOR HER PHONE AND MONEY.

IN AN ATTEMPT  TO RUN FOR HER LIFE,  SHE FELL AND SUSPECT ATTACKED HER ON THE GROUND. LUCK ELUDED THEM WHEN THE COMPLAINANT SHOUTED FOR HELP AND SUSPECTS WERE ARRESTED AND BROUGHT TO THE STATION.
SUSPECTS JAMES ANAN AND EBENEZER TORTO IN POLICE CUSTODY.
WITH THE  BLUE ROYAL MOTOR BIKE IMPOUNDED AND SHARP KNIFE RETRIEVED.
THE LADY HOWEVER SUSTAINED SOME BODILY INJURIES. THEY SHALL BE PROCESSED FOR COURT SOON,  POLICE SAID.

TWIFO HEMANG LOWER DENKYIRA DCE  nominee Confirmed.  President Nana Addo Dankwa -Akufo Addo nominee as the  District Chief Executive (DCE) for Twifo Hemang Lower Denkyira District in the Central Region, Mr. Kennedy Sarpong was on  Thursday, June 13,2019. Financial Clearance to Employ Nurses Contrary to the claims by some nurses that there hasn’t been any recruitment like the president said in the State of the Nations Address, the Ministry of health in a statement said it had received clearance from the Ministry of Finance to recruit 14,254 nurse assistants who passed their exams in 2016 from Government institutions. The statement said the ministry “has received financial clearance from the Ministry of Finance to employ 14,254 nurse assistants (clinical and preventive) from government nursing training institutions and the names have been verified by the Nursing and Midwifery Council. This clearance took effect from 1st February, 2019.” The ministry of health has also issued the number of nurse assistants (clinical and preventive) for allocation to each agency for posting to their respective health facilities.
