Ga East MCE lock gate as about 80% staff report to work late on Tuesday. Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Ga-East Municipal Assembly in the Greater Accra Region, Janet Tulasi Mensah (Hon.)  On Tuesday lock ed the main gate  at the Assembly premises as most  Staffs and workers reported to work after 9 am. Speaking to Oman news / j24newsgh, the MCE disclosed that, she got to office at about 7:30 am only to find out that about 70-80% Staff and Workers has not reported to work. According to her, the phenomenon has been going on for long and it can not be entertain any longer as a nation. NO CAUSE FOR ALARM ON CORONAVIRUS SUSPECTED CASES: DR. BADU SARKODIE.

Dr. Badu Sarkodie, Director Public Health of Ghana Health Service has called on Ghanaians to stay calm on suspected Coronavirus in Ghana. Speaking to Oman news on Thursday, Dr. Sarkodie disclosed that, out of four suspected cases recorded in the country so far, all prove negative. Particularly on the Chinese and Argentine nationals suspected cases at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, Samples has been taken to Nuguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research and the results will be ready by close of Thursday. He therefore called on Ghanaians not to fear nor panic at all, however, they should adhere to  cough and sneezing etiquette and improved personal hygiene such as regular hand-washing with soap and water. Currently, there is no cure but treatment is mainly symptomatic. At least 20 feared dead in kintampo - Tamale road crash

At least 20 persons are reported dead after a Metro Mass bus and a Sprinter mini bus collided head-on at Kawampe in the Kintampo North Municipality of the Bono East Region. Reports indicate that the Metro Mass Bus which was carrying sacks of fresh pepper and about 12 passengers and heading towards Kintampo from Tamale, collided head-on with the Sprinter between Kawampe and Dawadawa at about 4.00 am Monday. According to the Assemblyman for Kawampe, Mr Mathias Taasun, the two buses caught fire after the collision and all the passengers who got trapped in the Sprinter bus are dead. "As I speak now personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service have been able to douse the fire and are removing the bodies of the deceased", he stated. He explained that only five out of the 12 passengers on the Metro Mass Transit Bus survived. "Besides the five survivors from the Metro Mass Bus, everything got burnt", he stated. More later.
