The headmaster of High Class International School located in Kasoa-Amanfrom, Mr Thomas Chuku has sincerely press on guidance to invest immensely in the educational and the welfare of their Wards to ensure brighter future.

Mr Thomas Chuku was speaking at this year's 4th graduation ceremony on the theme: "Learning for change and sustainable development" on Saturday.

Speaking to the Media at the event, he hinted that the sole socioeconomic and improved human welfare depends on a strong educational background thus, appealing to parents to consider their children's education as their top most priority amongst other odds.

He advised parents to desists from unnecessary purchasing of funeral clothing and unwanted expenses and focus on the wellbeing of their children.

Financial Clearance to Employ Nurses Contrary to the claims by some nurses that there hasn’t been any recruitment like the president said in the State of the Nations Address, the Ministry of health in a statement said it had received clearance from the Ministry of Finance to recruit 14,254 nurse assistants who passed their exams in 2016 from Government institutions. The statement said the ministry “has received financial clearance from the Ministry of Finance to employ 14,254 nurse assistants (clinical and preventive) from government nursing training institutions and the names have been verified by the Nursing and Midwifery Council. This clearance took effect from 1st February, 2019.” The ministry of health has also issued the number of nurse assistants (clinical and preventive) for allocation to each agency for posting to their respective health facilities. A 12 unit shop built at a cost of three hundred thousand Ghana Cedis (GHC300,000) by the former Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) for Tema ,Ashai Odamteen ,has been declared structurally weak for commercial and human habitation by engineers from Tema Metropolitan Assembly (TMA)after a structural integrity test of the facility conducted. RAINFALL CAUSED HAVOC AT ADANSI NORTH DISTRICT, A/R. Torrential rains that fell on Saturday February 2, 2019. at about 5:30am has cause a lot of havoc in the Adansi North District. The rains destroyed properties worth thousands of cedis which includes School, Poultry farms of which about four hundred and fifty (450) poultry birds were killed. According to, Ashanti Regional National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) Coordinator,Kwabena Nsenkyire, who visited the scene said, no casualty was recorded,however, about 700 people were affected.
