CONSTRUCTION OF BUNJAI-KIDENG ROAD AND BRIDGES ON COURSE

It has been a nightmare for the good people of Salaga North constituency now North East Gonja District in the past years after the exit of Former president Kuffour.

Almost all feeder roads in the district were done during Hon Boniface tenure as MP and the lack of maintenance by the recent past regime caused damages on some of the roads including Kpalbe-Nyeshilla, Yapala-Kpanshegu-Voguyili Ring road, Buhujah, Bunjai-Deba, Jidanturu-Epuneyerima, Gbung-Chihigu, Kpalbe-Vanie, Kpalbe-Jinloo, Kpalbusi-Zankum, Fushila, Jantong roads, Bunjai-Kideng and more.

Thanks to Almighty for bringing back the vehicle that brought about the roads to rehabilitate them for the good people of the District to get common salt during the raining season.

The North East Gonja DCE effort to fix some of the roads is unprecedented and we wish to give him a helping hand to put his best in other aspects of development.

The bridges at *Labrankanka and Kabon lembir* rivers on the Bunjai-Kideng road is seeing a face lift after they were washed away in recent past.
Currently there is a contractor on the road to work on the road and get the bridges fixed to ease the suffering of the people using the said road.

We the people of Salaga say thank you to the NPP government for redeeming the spirit of development that affect all than individual chop chop as in the case of the recent past regime.

NO CAUSE FOR ALARM ON CORONAVIRUS SUSPECTED CASES: DR. BADU SARKODIE.

Dr. Badu Sarkodie, Director Public Health of Ghana Health Service has called on Ghanaians to stay calm on suspected Coronavirus in Ghana. Speaking to Oman news on Thursday, Dr. Sarkodie disclosed that, out of four suspected cases recorded in the country so far, all prove negative. Particularly on the Chinese and Argentine nationals suspected cases at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, Samples has been taken to Nuguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research and the results will be ready by close of Thursday. He therefore called on Ghanaians not to fear nor panic at all, however, they should adhere to cough and sneezing etiquette and improved personal hygiene such as regular hand-washing with soap and water. At least 20 feared dead in kintampo - Tamale road crash

At least 20 persons are reported dead after a Metro Mass bus and a Sprinter mini bus collided head-on at Kawampe in the Kintampo North Municipality of the Bono East Region. Reports indicate that the Metro Mass Bus which was carrying sacks of fresh pepper and about 12 passengers and heading towards Kintampo from Tamale, collided head-on with the Sprinter between Kawampe and Dawadawa at about 4.00 am Monday. According to the Assemblyman for Kawampe, Mr Mathias Taasun, the two buses caught fire after the collision and all the passengers who got trapped in the Sprinter bus are dead. "As I speak now personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service have been able to douse the fire and are removing the bodies of the deceased", he stated. He explained that only five out of the 12 passengers on the Metro Mass Transit Bus survived. "Besides the five survivors from the Metro Mass Bus, everything got burnt", he stated. More later.
