A 47-year-old man has under a strange circumstance, stabbed his six-year-old son to death at Diabene, a farming community within the Sekondi/Takoradi metropolis of the Western Region.

Kwaku Aaba, a local gin distiller, allegedly used a sharp machete to slash the boy’s neck from the back without any provocation whatsoever, causing him to bleed to death.

The suspect was said to have committed the murder at about 11:30am on Saturday Whiles he was on his way to farm with his two children, including the deceased.

According to her, some few minutes after they had left home, she heard some screaming from afar only to step out to find her husband carrying the motionless body of the younger son.
