OUR LIVES ARE IN DANGER-ASUOFUA ASAMANG RESIDENTS CRIES. A/R.

Drivers and Residents of Asuofua -Asamang in the Atwima Nwabiagya North District in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, has lamented about how dangerous a bridge that links Asuofua and Asamang township has collapsed and not been attended to by authorities that concerns.

According to the residents, the dilapidated state of the bridge is nothing more than a death trap.

Putting forward their grievances before J24newsgh,Mr Moses Osei Tontoh a driver said, the bridge got broken in less than six months after constructed in 2016 by Suhuyini constructions.

He added that, the road itself is full of potholes and due to it poor nature of drainage system,the place always get flooded whenever it rains.

That notwithstanding ,he's of optimistic that, if nothing is done especially approaching the rainy season, the story of the bridge will be nothing to write home about.

This because there will be no movement of vehicles from Asuofua to Asamang and vice versa since there's no alternate route that links the two towns, should in case the bridge eventually collapsed.

They are therefore calling on authorities to come to their aid by constructing the bridge as well as their road to avert any future misfortune.

NO CAUSE FOR ALARM ON CORONAVIRUS SUSPECTED CASES: DR. BADU SARKODIE.

Dr. Badu Sarkodie, Director Public Health of Ghana Health Service has called on Ghanaians to stay calm on suspected Coronavirus in Ghana.
