MAN WHO BURNT SON'S LEG FOR EATING HIS STEW SENTENCED.
Man who burnt Son's leg for eating his stew has been sentenced to one a year jail term by the Assin Fosu magistrate court.
The court was presided over by his Lordship Samuel  Djanie Korttey on Tuesday, March 19,2019.

Edward Boafo 33, a Senior Records Officer at Assin  Central Municipal Assembly in the Central Region of Ghana, has burnt his 5 year old Son Kwame Boafo's leg for allegedly eaten his stew.


 Kwame Boafo is a KG2  pupil of Fosu Methodist Basic School.

Edward Boafo has been arraigned before the Assin Fosu Magistrate Court and remanded to reappear before the Court on March 19,2019.

This was after the court presided over by His Lordship Samuel Djanie Korttey.

Chief inspector Francis Onyina told the court, on Thursday, February 14,2019. the victims father returned from work to find out that,stew prepared to be used by the family has allegedly eaten by the victim alone.

Upon interrogation to find the truth, the father took the victims leg towards an open fire,and  upon refusing to admit that he ate the stew, the father put the victims leg on fire to burn and beat him severely.

Mr.Boafo is not in relationship currently with the  victims mother but has married to another Woman.

Meanwhile, the victim is receiving treatment at Assin  Fosu St. Francis Hospital.

NO CAUSE FOR ALARM ON CORONAVIRUS SUSPECTED CASES: DR. BADU SARKODIE.

Dr. Badu Sarkodie, Director Public Health of Ghana Health Service has called on Ghanaians to stay calm on suspected Coronavirus in Ghana. Speaking to Oman news on Thursday, Dr. Sarkodie disclosed that, out of four suspected cases recorded in the country so far, all prove negative. Particularly on the Chinese and Argentine nationals suspected cases at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, Samples has been taken to Nuguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research and the results will be ready by close of Thursday.
