Our Beloved Country is celebrating 62nd anniversary today. As we mark this day, I am reminded of the National Heroes who struggled and laid down their lives for our Great Nation and it behoves on us to also do more for our Nation.


To the school children, security services and voluntary organizations who have spent hours, weeks, months etc in preparing for this day,


I say, may the Good Lord grant you the strength to go through today and to grow old to enjoy the peace of Ghana.

Happy independence anniversary to you all !!

AKYEM ABODOM GETS NEW ANKOBIA HENE Jubilant mood grips residents of Akyem Ankobia amidst drumming and dancing over the selection of a new Ankobiahene for the area on Monday. Residents of the town including drivers poured out on the streets in their numbers amidst tweeting of car horns to express their joy. The Ankobia chieftancy seat has been vacant since the inception of the town.
