A/R: TWO APPREHEND FOR KIDNAPPING, ONE BOLTS.



Police in the Ashanti Region have arrested two persons for allegedly kidnapping a 14-year-old boy.
They have been identified as Manasseh Fumeh 29, a security man and Charles Appiah 38 unemployed.
The suspects are expected to be arraigned before court  soon. 
 That notwithstanding,Police are on a search for a third party allied Felix whom to have  allegedly facilitated the act.
Briefing
At a press conference at the Ashanti Regional Command, police spokesperson, ASP Godwin Ahianyo said the suspects lived in the same neighbourhood with the victim at Kwamo, near Ejisu in the Ashanti Region.
He said the two succeeded in the act after they lured the minor with a smart phone and a laptop.
ASP Ahianyo said preliminary investigations revealed that ,the suspects together with their accomplice, who is on the run took the victim to an uncompleted building and was left in the care of an unsuspecting caretaker.
“On the 24th of March 2019, Felix who is on the run invited the victim to KNUST junction to receive the smartphone and the laptop but when this victim got to the supposed area they [bundled] him into a waiting Toyota Corola and drove,” ASP Ahianyo said.
The victim who was locked up in a building at Apatrapa in Kumasi for three days succeeded in cutting loose and called for help which attracted a passer-by.
The victim was later taken to the Tanoso Police Station leading to arrest of the suspects.
ASP Ahianyo has called on the public to support the police with credible information to arrest such criminals.
Meanwhile, the family of the victim, who are yet to reunite with him could not hide their joy over the development.

10 dies in Brazil football club.

10 Die in Fire🔥 at Flamengo Football Club in Brazil. A blaze has engulfed a dormitory at the youth team training centre of one of Brazil's biggest football clubs, killing 10 people, local media report. Three people were also injured when the fire broke out at Ninho de Urubu, the training ground of Flamengo football club, in Rio de Janeiro. The fire reportedly broke out as players were sleeping. The cause is not yet known. Flamengo is one of Brazil's biggest and best-known clubs. Social media posts showed the extent of the devastation at the ground. According to the G1 news portal, the fire began at 05:10 (07:10 GMT) and was extinguished by 07:30. None of the victims has been identified but players aged between 14 and 17 are known to have used the dormitory. The injured were taken to a nearby hospital, firefighters say.
