The chiefs, elders and the residents of Wassa Agyakaa Manso in Wasa Amenfi central of the Western region on Thursday, February 14 , 2019.embarked on a fund raising ceremony in aid of the progress and the developments of their cheerful community.

The fund raising ceremony was part of the outdooring of the newly enstooled  youth Chief  locally called 'Mmrantehene', with the stool name Nana Kwabena Awuah l.

According to the chiefs in the area, the 'Mmrantehene' seat has been vacant for the past forty years after the demise of the late Mmrantehene, Nana Kwankwa.

The ceremony was aimed at completing a  community Clinic, laboratory and to renovate the police station serving the community  and other on-going projects.

Nana Kansa Ababio I, Chief of Agyakaa Manso  advised the new 'Mmrantehene' to Seek for  ideas and directives from the chiefs and elders in all his endeavors especially towards developmental projects and layouts in the community.

The chief said,   Nana Kwabena Awuah l, swish's ideas alone cannot bring the needed development, because " two heads are better than one"



Meanwhile, the District Chief Executive for Wassa Amenfi Central, Mr. Patrick Hockson Amponteng ,  on behalf of the NPP government pledged his support towards the progress.

The newly crowned  youth chief, Nana Kwabena Awuah l, also thanked the Nananom and the people for their support and enthusiasm during the occasion. He pledged to ensure massive development in the area and called on the residents especially, the youth for their assistance.
