NDC KUMASI SHOOTINGS SO FAR.


One person is confirmed dead and another is in critical condition after two rival factions within the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) clashed and exchanged gunshots on Monday, February 18,2019.at about 12noon.


The incident happened when the National Chairman of the party, Samuel Ofosu Ampofo, and the General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia, met with the regional executives.
A team of crime officers from the Ashanti Regional Police Command lead by ACP Kwaku Buah confirmed the death to the media and said the police are investigating what caused the shootings.


The former MCE for Ejisu Municipality Mr Yamoah Ponkoh said, he got the information that, the group of people came to the party office purposely to kill him and Joseph Yamin but they couldn’t succeed in their plots.
According to him his car has been smashed and destroyed.


Meanwhile the NDC regional taskforce organizer, Fuseni Alhasan confirmed that the said group who destructed the meetings is called the hawks.

NO CAUSE FOR ALARM ON CORONAVIRUS SUSPECTED CASES: DR. BADU SARKODIE.

Dr. Badu Sarkodie, Director Public Health of Ghana Health Service has called on Ghanaians to stay calm on suspected Coronavirus in Ghana. Speaking to Oman news on Thursday, Dr. Sarkodie disclosed that, out of four suspected cases recorded in the country so far, all prove negative. Particularly on the Chinese and Argentine nationals suspected cases at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, Samples has been taken to Nuguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research and the results will be ready by close of Thursday. He therefore called on Ghanaians not to fear nor panic at all, however, they should adhere to  cough and sneezing etiquette and improved personal hygiene such as regular hand-washing with soap and water.
