Inconvenience on Takoradi -- Tarkwa road

JUST IN:

Hundreds of motorists and passengers have been left stranded at Takoradi- Tarkwa Road  following an accident involving a Petrol Tanker

Frustrated commuters tells J24NEWS,the accident occurred when the petrol Tanker lost it's balance and fell across the road between Nsuaem and Kofikrom around midday

A craine brought in by personnel from the Road Safety Commission is having it very tough lifting the Tanker from the highway

Passengers and motorists to and from Tarkwa and Takoradi have since been left stranded for over 5 hours

Motorists are being advised to drive cautiously towards that stretch
