AT LEAST 10 FEARED DEAD IN A GORY ACCIDENT.

At least ten(10) persons feared  dead , 6 in critical condition and many injured in a gory accident, on Asamankese - Asuokaw road in the  Eastern Region of Ghana.

The accident reportedly occurred at about 4:40pm on Thursday, February 21, 2019.

The accident happened when a KIA Rhino with Registration number AS 1125-18 Hits a bridge and a Ford Mini Bus also with registration no.GR 9936-Y, trying to swerve the accident but lost control and get involved.

J24 NEWS GH correspondent, reported that, the KIA Rhino was running at a top speed with many people sitting at the back chanting and singing dirge songs with the Ford Mini Bus behind and a hearse in front.


According to the reports, a 17 year old boy has died, so the hearse was conveying the body from Asamankese to Asuokaw for a burial service,whiles Family, Friends and Sympathizers were also in the other cars.

Survivors of the crash have since been rushed to Asamankese Government Hospital whiles those passed on bodies has also been conveyed to the Morgue.

At least 20 feared dead in kintampo - Tamale road crash

At least 20 persons are reported dead after a Metro Mass bus and a Sprinter mini bus collided head-on at Kawampe in the Kintampo North Municipality of the Bono East Region. Reports indicate that the Metro Mass Bus which was carrying sacks of fresh pepper and about 12 passengers and heading towards Kintampo from Tamale, collided head-on with the Sprinter between Kawampe and Dawadawa at about 4.00 am Monday. According to the Assemblyman for Kawampe, Mr Mathias Taasun, the two buses caught fire after the collision and all the passengers who got trapped in the Sprinter bus are dead. "As I speak now personnel of the Ghana National Fire Service have been able to douse the fire and are removing the bodies of the deceased", he stated. He explained that only five out of the 12 passengers on the Metro Mass Transit Bus survived. "Besides the five survivors from the Metro Mass Bus, everything got burnt", he stated. More later.
