Hon.Yaw Buaben Asamoa organises prayer Breakfast meeting for Muslim leaders

Hon.Yaw Buaben Asamoah ,Esq. Member of Parliament for Adentan Constituency in the Greater Accra Region on Saturday, met with Imams,Zongo Chiefs (Sariki's) and Opinion leaders of Muslim communities in the Adentan Constituency and municipality. The meeting was dubbed "Breakfast Prayer Meeting " under the theme : Spiritual Guidance, Effective Leadership " The meeting was held at Frafraha,Adenta. The aim of the meeting was to share ideas on how best they can move the constituency and the municipality forward. Hon. Yaw Buaben Asamoa Esq,used the opportunity to explain some of Government's Policies and interventions within it's period in office. More importantly, he touched down on the upcoming Referendum and the need to vote "Yes" towards the exercise. A/R Armed Robbers Stormed Manhyia Gov't Hospital

Drama unfold on Wednesday night at the emergency unit of Manhyia  government Hospital,Kumasi in the Ashanti Region when patients on drips have to abandoned their beds  and run helter skelter  after  armed robbers   stormed the unit ,firing  haphazardly and robbed  both  patients  and nurses  of their belongings. Most of the patients were able to escape living the  nurses on duty at the mercies of the robbers. Speaking to the Administrator of the Hospital, Emmanuel Adzei, he confirmed the incident and added they are still counting their losses and also to give medical care to nurses who were hurt in the act. Security personnel on duty who couldn't handle the situation also took to their heels at the time of the unfortunate incidence. However, patients who run away whiles on drips returned to their bed after the incidence.

Taxi driver in police grips for stabbing mother to death

A taxi driver on Friday morning reportedly murdered his mother and stabbed the elder sister at Kwesimintsim Zongo in Takoradi. The sister is currently in a critical condition at the Western Regional Hospital. Identified only as Mawuli, the suspect is said to have descended on the mother and elder sister without provocation. After allegedly killing the mother, according to some residents, Mawuli turned to the elder sister and stabbed her several times before he was overpowered. The Kwesimintsim District Police Command has confirmed the arrest of the suspect to the media.

Man 38, killed over fish C/R

Kenneth Arhin 38,has met his untimely death after been stabbed  by his friend Kweku Anu at Gomoa Kweikrom in the Central Region during a misunderstanding after the latter’s cat chewed fried fish(Nkyenam)  belonging to the deceased. In an interview with Gomoa Kweikrom Unit Committee Secretary Daniel Kofi Agyemang revealed that, the suspect’s cat went to the room of the deceased and chewed his fried fish following which he confronted the suspect to demand money [cost of the chewed fish]. A heated argument ensued between them leading to a scuffle. Before people could separate them, the suspect reached for an iron rod and stabbed the deceased killing him instantly. Members of the Unit Committee subsequently arrested the suspect and handed him over to Ojobi District Police Command for prosecution. The body of the deceased has been conveyed to Winneba Trauma and Specialist Hospital for preservation awaiting autopsy.

We will make the world know allegations levelled  against GES not true- Bonaventure. Most Rev.John Bonaventure Kwofie, Catholic Metropolitan Archbishop of Accra has disclosed to Oman news exclusively that, haven heard from the Ministry of Education and it Agencies of the allegations levelled against them on inclusion of Comprehensive Sexual Education (CSE) into the Curriculum, they will also make the world know the side of Ghana Education Service ( GES). He however bemoaned that, the ministry and it agencies delayed in coming out, hence allowing room of spread of the allegations but be as it may, it's better late than never. He spoke to Nana Kwasi Ampofo during an inaugural ceremony of Governing Councils of Eight (8) Colleges of Education in Accra on Tuesday.
