Kyeremekrom Chief appeals to Government to consider nearby villages in developmental projects in its annual plans.

The Chief of Kyeremekrom in the Bono region, Nana Kwame Kyeremeh has appealed to MCE of Sunyani municipality to consider those in villages when drawing their arteries.

Nana Kyeremeh said this during the grounds durbar to commission the rural electrification project at Kyeremekrom a village in the Sunyani East constituency in the Bono region.

The project which seeks to extend electricity to Kyeremekrom and its surrounded villages was in fulfilment of the campaign promises from the Member of Parliament for Sunyani East, Hon Kwasi Ameyaw Kyeremeh and the NPP government led by Nana Akufo-Addo during the 2016 general elections.

According to him, the people of Kyeremekrom and its surrounded villages lack social amenities and the most of it all is good drinking water.

He added that, the only borehole which is the main source of good drinking water at the village is damaged now as result of pressure from the people in the village and appealed to the MCE and the MP as a matter of urgency come to their aid and repair it for them.

Nana Kyeremeh congratulated the MP, MCE and the NPP government for putting measures in place to extend electricity to the area and promised he and his people will do all they can to support the project for its successful completion.
