Don't fall prey to NDC tactics:Christian Donkor warns. Mr. Christian Donkor a Chattered Accountant,Businessman,Politician and a Social Commentator has cautioned the New Patriotic Party -NPP not to fall prey to the  National  Democratic Congress - NDC tactics. Kwafokrom-Apedwa Junction Dual Carriage Project Kicks Off The China International Water and Electric Corporation (CWE) has begun the construction of the second lane of the 32-kilometer Kwafokrom-Apedwa Junction section of the Accra-Kumasi Highway in the Eastern Region. The construction, which began the last two months, is expected to dualize the road. The Minister for Roads & Highways, Kwasi Amoako-Atta, cut the sod in October last year at Suhum New Station for the commencement of the GH¢333 million project. The Road Minister pointed out that the Accra-Kumasi dual carriageway was scheduled to be completed within 36 months after former President Agyekum Kufuor cut the sod in 2008; however, the project is yet to be completed. Meanwhile, Frederick Opare-Ansah, MP for Suhum Constituency, under whose jurisdiction the project is also taking place, has commended the government for its determination to complete the project after 10 years of sod-cutting.

PURPORTED RECOMMENDATIONS BY EMILE SHORT COMMISSION BOGUS IF NOT FAKE. A Cross-section of Ghanaians including legal practitioners, Security Experts and the general public has expressed dissatisfaction of the purported recommendations by the Emile Short Commission if not fake. Many has discribed it as Bogus recommendations if it is not fake. Speaking to an expert on Double's case, he made the following assertions. Firstly, Double had both Police and National Security weapon permit  which were with him but the commission never requested for them.  This show how shallow the members were, when it comes to issues of weapon handling  in the security services. THREE PUPILS DEAD IN TEMA FIRE OUTBREAK.  Three Basic school students has been burnt to death after 'our day' celebration in Tema Comm.2 near BBC station in the Tema Metropolis of the Greater Accra Region. The fire is reported to have occurred at about 1pm on Thursday, April 11,2019. The three are pupils of John Bosco and Mexico Basic schools respectively all in Tema. The incident happened at Tema Community 2 near the BBC station where the victims resides with their Aunty and Grandmother. According to the  residents who initially saw the fire called fire service but upon arrival, the three girls has already burnt to death. The eldest among the three is a 10 year old, followed by 8 and 3 year old respectively. The 8 and 3 year old are siblings whereas the 10 year old with a different parent.  POLICEMAN, THREE OTHERS JAILED 70 YEARS FOR ROBBERY. The Accra Circuit Court has sentenced a policeman and three others to a total of 70 years imprisonment for robbing a supermarket at Nungua in Accra on December 12, 2017. Corporal Raymond Amegashie will serve 20 years in prison, Ibrahim Ayirebo was given 18 years while Bright Dorkanu and Stanley Akorli will each serve 16 years in prison. The accused persons were found guilty of conspiracy to commit robbery and robbery by the court, presided over by Justice Aboagye Tandoh. Delivering his judgement, the presiding judge held that the prosecution proved beyond reasonable doubt to establish that the four accused persons indeed robbed the supermarket. FINANCIAL LOSS IN TEMA BY TMA FORMER MCE. A 12 unit shop built at a cost of three hundred thousand  Ghana Cedis (GHC300,000) by the former Metropolitan Chief Executive (MCE) for Tema ,Ashai Odamteen ,has been declared structurally weak for commercial and human habitation by engineers from Tema Metropolitan Assembly (TMA)after a structural integrity test of the facility conducted. The building has been declared a danger zone by National Disaster Management Organization whiles preparation are underway to demolish the death trap before it collapse on the occupants.
