THREE "SATAN BOYS" REMANDED. C/R

The Assin Fosu magistrate court, presided over by His Worship Djanie Korttey, has remanded three
 " Satan Boys" into prison custody,
Richmond Turkson  24 unemployed, Daniel Awuah 23 a Barber and Kwadwo Michael  alias
 ( wo  sei  mere) 22 unemployed, to reappear before it on April 9, 2019.

Prosecutor Inspector Gilbert Anyongo, told the court that,the three were arrested by the Assin Fosu police command on Saturday,March 23, 2019 when they were sharing their booty for allegedly succeeding in  defrauding a woman of about One- thousand seven hundred Ghana cedis( Ghc1,700 ) through mobile money.

According to the prosecutor, there was an accusation of cheating  during the booty sharing, which generated into a fight and later apprehended by the Assin  police  Command.

LITTLE BACKGROUND.

'SATAN BOYS'  is a group of young men age between 14 to 26, some JHS students and drop outs within Assin Fosu and Assin Dompim enclave in the Central region of Ghana, who are found of terrorizing those living in the aforementioned communities in recent times.

The group activities includes, stealing of goats, fowls, cooking utensils, mobile money fraud, raping and smoking.

The Satan Boys usually use the stolen goats to prepare food at their base in the bush whist the cooking pot /utensils  are later sold cheaply to scrap dealers.

Residents within the vicinity who are worried has complained this notorious activities by the Satan Boys to authorities but no solution has been provided, they told Nana Kwasi Ampofo of J24newsgh/Oman Fm.

THEY SHALL BE PROCESSED FOR COURT SOON,  POLICE SAID.

NO CAUSE FOR ALARM ON CORONAVIRUS SUSPECTED CASES: DR. BADU SARKODIE.

Dr. Badu Sarkodie, Director Public Health of Ghana Health Service has called on Ghanaians to stay calm on suspected Coronavirus in Ghana. Speaking to Oman news on Thursday, Dr. Sarkodie disclosed that, out of four suspected cases recorded in the country so far, all prove negative. Particularly on the Chinese and Argentine nationals suspected cases at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, Samples has been taken to Nuguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research and the results will be ready by close of Thursday.
