Trotro driver kills police officer in Accra

Sgt. Moses Appiah MTTD police officer has met his untimely death on Friday morning after been ran by a 'Trotro' bus driver in Accra. The late Sgt. Moses Appiah was on duty at Madina   a suburb of Accra directing traffic and addressing traffic infractions around 9:30 am. Whiles on duty, he stop a Trotro bus driver with car registration number GR-4880-20 but the driver refused to stop, the late Sgt. Appiah then gave the driver a hot chase whilst on his Motor bike, upon arriving at Trinity Seminary near Ghana School of Languages, Ideal College  'Memmpeasem' of the East Legon enclave to apprehend the driver, the Trotro driver ran over the police officer and was pronounced dead at Police Hospital in Accra. NO CAUSE FOR ALARM ON CORONAVIRUS SUSPECTED CASES: DR. BADU SARKODIE.

Dr. Badu Sarkodie, Director Public Health of Ghana Health Service has called on Ghanaians to stay calm on suspected Coronavirus in Ghana. Speaking to Oman news on Thursday, Dr. Sarkodie disclosed that, out of four suspected cases recorded in the country so far, all prove negative. Particularly on the Chinese and Argentine nationals suspected cases at Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, Samples has been taken to Nuguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research and the results will be ready by close of Thursday. He therefore called on Ghanaians not to fear nor panic at all, however, they should adhere to  cough and sneezing etiquette and improved personal hygiene such as regular hand-washing with soap and water. Currently, there is no cure but treatment is mainly symptomatic.
